2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App or Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all incorporated policies.

• Ephemeral Community Chat functionality

3.2 No Medical Advice or Treatment

The Service does not provide:

• Medical advice or diagnosis
• Psychiatric or psychological treatment
• Therapy or counseling
• Addiction treatment or rehabilitation
• Medication or tapering recommendations

3.3 No Healthcare Provider Relationship

Use of the Service does not create any physician-patient, therapist-client, counselor-client, or similar professional relationship.

The Company is not a healthcare provider and does not practice medicine or mental health treatment.

3.4 Non-Medical Content

All content accessible through the Service is general and educational in nature and does not constitute professional medical, psychiatric, legal, or therapeutic advice.

3.5 No Endorsement of User Content

User Content reflects the views of individual Users only.

The Company does not endorse, guarantee, or verify User Content.

4. Strongly Recommended Physician Consultation

Changes involving Substance Use may involve significant medical and psychological risks.

The Company strongly encourages consultation with a qualified Healthcare Provider before initiating, modifying, or discontinuing any Substance Use or medication regimen.

4.2 Potential Risks

Potential risks may include:

• Withdrawal symptoms
• Seizures or neurological events
• Cardiovascular complications
• Worsening mental health conditions
• Suicidal ideation or self-harm
• Drug interactions
• Relapse or increased Substance Use

4.3 No Verification

The Company does not verify whether you have consulted a Healthcare Provider.

4.4 Disclosure to Healthcare Providers

Users are encouraged to inform their Healthcare Providers about use of the App and related goals.

4.5 No Limitation on Emergency Care

Nothing in these Terms limits or discourages seeking immediate emergency or professional medical care.

5. Taper Calculator and Tools

5.1 Educational Purpose Only

The App may include calculators and tools that perform mathematical calculations based on User-provided inputs.

These tools are provided strictly for informational and educational purposes.

5.2 No Safety Assessment

The calculator and tools:

• Do not assess medical safety
• Do not account for personal medical history
• Are not medically validated
• May generate unsafe or inappropriate outputs

5.3 Outputs May Be Unsuitable

Calculator outputs may conflict with accepted medical standards or be medically inappropriate.

You should not implement any calculator-generated schedule without consulting a qualified Healthcare Provider.

5.5 No Warranty

You assume all risks associated with use of the calculator and any reliance upon its outputs.

6. Emergencies and Crisis Situations

6.1 No Emergency Services

6.2 Not Monitored for Emergencies

Community Chat and related features are not monitored continuously or in real time.

6.3 Immediate Action Required

If you believe you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, immediately contact:

• Qualified medical professionals

6.4 No Reliance on the App

You must not rely on the Service for emergency assistance.

6.5 Emergency-Related Content

The Company may, but is not obligated to, respond to emergency-related User Content.

Any action or inaction does not create a future duty to monitor emergencies.

7. User Responsibility and Assumption of Risk

7.1 User Acknowledgments

By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

• Calculator outputs may be unsafe
• Community Chat may contain inaccurate or harmful information

7.2 Assumption of Risk

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with:

• Substance Use decisions
• Reliance on Service content
• Use of calculators and Community Chat
• Failure to obtain professional medical care

7.3 Personal

Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Seeking professional healthcare
• Monitoring your own safety
• Complying with Applicable Law
• Evaluating your own Substance Use decisions

8. User Conduct and Restrictions

8.1 Compliance With Law

You agree to use the Service only in compliance with Applicable Law.

8.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Violate any law
• Promote illegal substances
• Harass or threaten others
• Post hateful, obscene, or offensive content
• Share unauthorized medical advice
• Reverse-engineer the App
• Introduce malware or malicious code
• Collect User data without permission
• Violate Community Guidelines

8.3 Ephemeral Nature of Community Chat

Community Chat messages may not be retained or recoverable.

You should not rely on Community Chat as permanent storage or records.

8.4 Enforcement

The Company may investigate violations and take appropriate action, including suspension, termination, content removal, or reporting to law enforcement.

9. User Content and Moderation

9.1 Responsibility for User Content

You are solely responsible for all User Content you submit or share.

9.2 License to Company

By submitting User Content, you grant the Company a worldwide, royalty-free license to use such content for operating and improving the Service.

9.3 Section 230 Safe Harbor

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not the publisher or speaker of User Content provided by Users.

9.4 Good-Faith Moderation

10. Intellectual Property Rights
